A sunny day with the sun shining bright.
A sunny day with all our fear of night.
A sunny day without a cloud in the sky.
A sunny day with the warmth reaching a high.
With the sun shining bright we are,
careless and free,
they can see all the love between you and me.
The sun is going down,we must say goodnight.
You lay there in your peaceful sleep.
You are what I know I need to keep.
Friends and family don't know a thing.
They try to take you. Tear you away.
They try to take you and make me pay.
Pay for my mistakes. All those rainy days.
They don't know the hurt and pain
They may try to hide,
but I see it through
knowing I'll still have you.
At least for another sunny day.
